2020

This was the year I picked up a new hobby on the water; stand up paddle-boarding help me keep my sanity through the COVID-19 pandemic.  ðŸ˜·  This year 2020, the full moon appeared a bit bigger than normal in the night sky on four occasions: these are know as supermoons.     Intensely glowing and pushing their shine into the early evening darkness; the supermoons are quite the spectacle. This was the only picture I captured of a supermoon this year; rising over downtown San Diego on October 02, 2020 at 7:32pm.

Morning SUP Tour: 10/31/2020

Image
10.31.2020 This morning I went for a relaxing paddle out to the Ocean Beach Pier and then around Mission Bay.  Getting out through the channel entrance was a bit changeling as the tide was against me and the paddle back was into a lofty head wind.  Yes, I use a lot of sun block.     Next paddle will be up the coast to Pacific Beach's Crystal Peir and back; about 12 miles. The fog was rolling back out to sea as I paddled towards the edge of its' bank. I can only think of one word when I see scattered light radiating through a tree; “Komorebi”.

Padde to the Point: 10.10.2920

Had a nice little paddle on Saturday: Liberty Station Canoe Launch to the end of North Island Jetty; round trip.
