In Joshua Tree, where the yucca with clusters of spiky leaves grow,
A good group of friends gathered on Cinco De Mayo,
The kiddos ran wild, free, and having a blast,
While we toasted to good times that go by to fast.
Cinco de Mayo brought out the fiesta,
And we sipped on cactus margaritas,
Discovering desert shit was our goal,
As we explored and let our spirits
Our weekend getaway was filled with gay times,
And fresh air and sunshine, oh so divine,
California desert, you stole our hearts,
And we can't wait to make new memories, let the good times start!
At Desert Jems ABB we laid our heads,
And snuggled in for some much-needed bed,
But not before roasting marshmallows on the fire,
Bonding with beautiful people, our hearts were filled with desire.
Paloma's friend Mike is one of a kind,
A nice gay guy with a fit behind,
Jumping around, doing desert shit,
Having fun and keeping fit.
He's always there, day or night,
Bringing joy and spreading light,
The best of buddies, a plant daddy,
And a musical maestro, so happy-go-lucky.
With his green thumb and his tunes so sweet,
He brightens up the world with his beat,
Paloma's friend Mike is simply divine,
A true gem of a friend, one of a kind.
