Blooms Along the Walkways: A Warm Day at the San Diego Zoo - 10/17/2026

The Santa Ana winds were blowing hot in San Diego today, so instead of braving the crowded animal exhibits, I took a slower stroll through the paths. Armed with my Canon 90D and telephoto lens, I spent the afternoon capturing the bright flora lining the zoo's walkways. From vibrant red and pink hibiscus to subtle, layered shades of yellow I couldn't quite name, the unexpected gardens put on quite a show.
